Our free fitness camps are the perfect opportunity to see what kind of work-out a Certified Personal Trainer can provide for you.
They are a group setting and you only participate in what you feel comfortable doing. Exercises will be demonstrated and you will be monitored to ensure you are performing each activity correctly and at a safe pace.

Extreme Outdoor Training - Register Now

Lockport Park District's Challenge Fitness has schedule Extreme Outdoor Training Sessions and Mike Wittmann of Coach Mike's Personal Training will be instructing!
Here is what the Park District brochure has to say:
Have you ever flipped through the channels on your tv and seen people flipping tires, throwing kegs and pulling cars? Have you ever imagined yourself doing the same? Well, now is your chance! Join your Extreme Athlete Training Team once a week and add a new type of training to your arsenal. You and your team will meet for 6 weeks which will culminate with a head to head competition with other teams in our Extreme Athletic Challenge. Challenge for 6/3 & 6/5 starting date will be July 13 at 8 a.m. Challenge for 7/15 & 7/17 starting date will be 8/24 at 8 a.m. Train extreme and become lean!

This is a great opportunity for athletes training for a sport or for someone training for fitness to progress to new levels, challenge yourself and experience a functional style of working out. And it's fun! ! Never tried this before? All the more reason to join us - Complete instruction is provided and you do what you can do!

One, a six session, one hour camp for 5th through 8th graders and the other, a ten session, 90 minute camp for 9th through 12 graders. BOTH are open to female and male athletes.
These camps will focus on basketball skills and fundamentals, as well as core (mid-section) and leg strength. Each session will be a structured, basketball based workout! Just the thing your athlete needs to get ready for their season or just to improve as a player.
Registration and payment will be through Lockport's Challenge Fitness.
