Camp Details

Coach Mike's Personal Training has scheduled four basketball skills camps at First Church of the Nazarene.

Registration and payment will be through First Church of the Nazarene.

Bring a Teammate! - Pass the Word!
Lead by Illinois High School Association certified coach and Certified Personal Trainer Mike Wittmann. Coach Mike has over 40 years of coaching experience at grade and high school levels in church programs, school teams and AAU clubs. He has worked with college players giving private shooting lessons and been on staff at NBA player camps.

Coach Mike’s Basketball Skills Camp
Grades: 5th-6th (Girls & Boys)
Ages: 10-12
This camp will focus on basketball skills and fundamentals for the athlete who has previously played on a team. This is a structured basketball based workout – If your athlete wants to continue playing, they must continually improve / re-enforce their skills; this is the perfect opportunity. Champions are made in the off-season.

DAY: Monday & Wednesdays
DATES: 7/11, 7/13, 7/18, 7/20, 7/25 & 7/27.
TIME: 6:30 - 7:30p
FEE: $60 per Athlete

It’s aimed at increasing your basketball skills and court IQ that will establish you as a true asset to any basketball program. If your athlete wants to continue playing, they must continually improve / re-enforce their skills; this is the perfect opportunity. Champions are made in the off-season.

Coach Mike’s Basketball Skills Camp
Grades: 9th-12th (Girls & Boys)
Ages: 14-18
This camp will focus on basketball skills and fundamentals for the athlete who has previously played on a team; it is meant to challenge and push the athlete to the next level. It’s aimed at increasing your basketball skills and court IQ that will establish you as a true asset to any basketball program. These court sessions will concentrate on applying the concepts of the game while developing the specific skills that are applicable to each player's position.  Players will focus on playing against a defender when applicable. Collegiate drills & game situations are used to develop and strengthen physical and mental habits that lead to successful play!

NOTE: Each player MUST bring their own basketball.
These are skills based camps, no formal 5 on 5 games will be played.
